While driving home during an especially long commute yesterday, I was listening to NPR (All Tech Considered, to be exact) and was happy to learn about this awesome organization, You Renew. If you have gadgets that you no longer use-- cell phones, computers, etc., you can essentially "sell" your gadget to this company, and they'll even provide you with the proper postage virtually! So awesome, right? Best of all: you're helping the environment and getting rid of yet another item that would stay in your junk drawer for months. Sign me up, please.

the newest issue of the new yorker was delivered to our doorstep yesterday. isn't this so sad, and simultaneously, true? regardless, i applaud chris ware's statement here.
