chalkboard love.

loving the use of chalkboards in these kitchens, via the sneak peek's on today's design sponge. the first picture is from the kitchen of samantha reitmayer and in the second picture, the owners of the home, amy and brian reed, said they use the chalkboard to write down quotes from their daughter, matilda. so sweet, don't you think?. i'm in the process of trying to find a large old school chalkboard for the hallway into our kitchen--to use as a menu inspiration board for dinner parties. i'm even more inspired now.
