Amazing wedding dress + reception

I just love these gorgeous bride's flowy grey wedding dress, and her reception seems the perfect combination of kick-back and elegant. After the ceremony (held in the bride's parents backyard), the bride and groom and all their guests walked to the end of the street where a tent was set up with the most beautiful hanging lights. Swoon.

oh, how i love the wedding featured on green wedding shoes today. the pictures in the classroom are beyond precious. and how gorgeous is her dress? i love the splash of color, and love, love, love her hair. i'm going to go stalk minna k.'s wedding gowns now. . .

i'm in michigan this weekend for my cousin's wedding. i'm in the bridal party, and she allowed us to pick our favorite j.crew dress in kelly green. smart girl. since i'm from michigan, too, i'll probably have my wedding here as well. detroit-based photographer, jessica johnston, is one of my faves. i love the intimacy of the photo above. the moment seems so genuine between the bride and her mother, and completely unposed. i also love how we get the mother's whole face, and with the bride the focus is put on her smile and gaze on the small note that she's reading.
