stephanie on "one simple joy."

Coming home to my dog. No matter the day, the weather, the battles or the victories, when I open the door to my house there is a moment of pure joy, and it is all thanks to my dog, who wiggles and wags, and wants to lick my hands and carry off my gloves so that I can't leave again. It's a reminder that I am loved and needed, and it makes my house a happy place.

aw, that's a cutie!
And I am glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks about my dogs when someone asks me about what makes me happy.
Love that post! What a great idea for your blog, Alicia. (Although I love your posts, too!)
I agree, coming home to my dogs (and their sweet love and excitement) after any time away-- 30 minutes or 3 days-- is absolutely the biggest joy in the world.
